Role Description:

Key Accountabilities:      

  • Loading of trucks with sulfur, KTS, Trisert-K+, K-Row, and ATS in accordance with TKI policy and OSHA, EPA, HM-126, and DOT regulations.
  •  Loading of railcars with sulfur, KTS, Trisert-K+, K-Row, and ATS in accordance with TKI policy and OSHA, EPA, BOE, HM-126, and DOT regulations
  •  Unloading of KOH railcars in accordance with TKI policy and OSHA, EPA, BOE, HM-126, and DOT regulations.
  • Filling out and signing Bills of Lading and other paperwork associated with the loading/unloading process.  Obtain retained samples of trucks and railcars loaded.
  •  Inspection of trucks, railcars, storage vessels, and containment areas.  Responsible for properly filling out necessary paperwork associated with inspections.
  • Assist in plant projects including maintenance, turn-around, Lock Out / Tag Out, and Confined Space entries.
  • Maintain loading/unloading, storage, and containment areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Containment, clean-up, packaging, labeling, and loading of Hazardous Waste according to HAZWOPER training and OSHA, EPA, RCRA, HM-126, and DOT regulations.   
  •  Participate in the plant Safety Committee including presentation of required safety topics, reporting potential hazards, and performing monthly safety inspections. 
  • Implement Emergency Response Plan and assist in the mitigation of emergencies.
  • Varying hours of duty can include nights, weekends, and holidays.        


Key Knowledge Skills and Behaviors:

  • Education – HS diploma minimum; technical/engineering degree desirable.
  • Technical, mechanical and operations experience desired.
  • Good mechanical and technical knowledge and skills.
  • Must be able to read and understand material.
  • Basic mathematical and analytical skills required.
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literate – must be versed in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) experience with SAP a plus
