Tessenderlo Kerley is currently searching for a new Accounts Payable Manager to oversee a small team and manage all accounts payable activities for the company.

What we need from you:

  • Expected to be in the office 5 days a week to manage day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable (5 FTEs) department with strong leadership and excellent communication skills
  • Manage and mentor team with proper training and providing feedback to enhance their work performance, including establishing and implementing short- and long-term departmental goals and objectives
  • Creates and implements changes to work assignments, methods, or procedures to meet operational needs, improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Execute payment proposals a minimum of once per week
  • Assist with the annual audit in regard to A/P
  • Assist in month-end closing of financial records connected to the AP sub-ledger
  • Provide input for the preparation of the cash flow forecasts for TG Treasury
  • Maintain and support vendor relations. Set up new vendor requests in SAP.
  • Communicate with suppliers/auditors as needed to confirm balances and ensure timely payment
  • Recommends modifications to the existing systems and implements modifications through coordination with all appropriate departments and individuals
  • Administer the TKI corporate T&E card program connected to Concur
  • Assist with projects as requested

Profile

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Work onsite 5 days a week
  • 8+ years Accounts Payable experience, 5+ years supervisory or management experience
  • Knowledge of 1099, W-9, and other tax and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Conflict management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Business process improvement skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment while collaborating and communicating
  • SAP or similar ERP experience is a plus but not required
  • CPA is a plus but not required
