Tessenderlo Kerley Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of TKI, located in Carlsbad, NM, serves as its in-house engineering and construction group as well as serving the needs of third party customers in the mining, petrochemical and chemical industries.

Tessenderlo Kerley Services qualified staff of engineers and fabrication personnel work closely with the plant locations to keep abreast of cutting-edge technology in fertilizer solutions and process chemicals production. Our experience includes plant design in new construction to improving the efficiency of existing facilities.

We have been designing and constructing processing plants for the refining, gas processing and petrochemical industries since 1982. Our projects include both grassroots plants and plant modification or expansions.

  • We maintain and ASME and NBIC certified shop of U, R and S code stamps in our fabrication department. Some of our fabrication experience and capabilities include:
  • Pressure vessels, towers and tanks
  • Pressure piping in accordance with ASME B31.1 and B31.3 code
  • Structural steel pipe racks, structures, module frames, pipe supports, ladders, platforms, etc.
  • Plant process modules, completely shop assembled with equipment, piping, instrumentation, etc.
  • Shop and field repair/alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and piping
  • Customized instrument control panels Our engineering and detailed design capabilities include:
  • Preparation of Schedule A process design packages, including plot plan, P and IDs, instrument data sheets, alarm and shutdown schematics, etc.
  • Detailed engineering and design, including complete civil, structural, piping, instrumentation and electrical design drawings prepared using state-of-art 2D and 3D computer aided design (CAD) software
