Thio-Gold™ (ammonium thiosulfate solution) is a non-hazardous liquid with a typical pH of 6.5 - 8.5. The liquid solution is typically clear to pale yellow in color and may have a slight ammonia and/or organic odor. Solutions of Thio-Gold are considered stable in normal transportation. Solutions range from 55 to 60% strength by weight and weigh 11.0 to 11.2 pounds per U.S. gallon (1.32 - 1.35 gm/cc).
